DESIGN SAMPLES
Client: TikTok via VaynerMedia
Project: Ideate and create content for TikTok’s social channels
My Role: Design (static and motion), video editing, art direction, ideation
When we started our partnership with TikTok, my team found that their design style guide was predominantly geared toward use cases like banners and sizzles—assets that had one short line of text and one large UGC hero visual. Our intended social strategy included a much wider range of content. So we worked with their internal design team to establish some best practices, allowing us to incorporate stock photography, illustration, and more text into our work while still ensuring that TikTok's brand identity came through. The TikTok team also creates a unique design toolkit for different cultural moments (such as Earth Month and heritage months), which we also adapted to fit our concepts.

Client: Lemonade LA via VaynerMedia
Project: Create social ads promoting the restaurant's food offerings
My Role: Design, concepting
Lemonade came to us with the goal of informing social users that they serve more than just lemonade. Following their existing brand guidelines and campaign hero spot, my team and I created a series of assets that promoted their wide range of menu options in gamified and humorous ways.

Client: Herbologie Studio
Project: Create print + social assets promoting the store's new line of bottled teas
My Role: Design, photography
My first design internship was at Herbologie Studio, a small tea and spice company in Honolulu. Herbologie had recently started producing these six bottled teas, so I was tasked with translating information about each blend into a variety of informational formats. Following the company's pre-existing design style guide, I designed print materials like this brochure. I also photographed + did light retouching on all of the bottle images used.

Client: Syracuse Kappa Phi Lambda
Project: Create print + social graphics promoting various events
My Role: Art direction, design
In college, I served as the public relations chair for my sorority for multiple semesters. We hosted a variety of programs per semester, including education about Asian culture and issues, new member recruitment, and fundraisers—all requiring promotional graphics formatted for both print and social. In addition to design, I was also responsible for routing each design for approval by our school administration and sorority national board, ensuring all standards were met before publication.
