I moved into an art direction role for Seasons 16 and 17 of KUWTK after working on Season 15 as a designer. Before each season started, I worked with my team to create and pitch a roadmap of premiere, in-season, and finale content ideas that went beyond standard episodic clips.

Each week, we delivered five pieces of episodic content for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; around 10 "talent assets" formatted for Stories; and in-show videos and GIFs that were livetweeted as the show aired.

We drove excitement for the Season 17 premiere by tapping into the family's massive social following. Each KarJenner received a unique montage of their most memorable quotes throughout the show's entire history, plus one never-before-seen new season moment.

Who was the most interesting to look at circa season 2? #KUWTK

A post shared by Kardashians on E! (@kuwtk) on Aug 17, 2019 at 9:24am PDT

Our account team found that fans were eager to comment their opinions about the family on our posts. After the success of a test post in Season 15 asking which sister was the "most interesting to look at," I pitched a content series called "Most Valuable Kardashian" that asked our followers to weigh in on which family members stole the show each week. The idea also developed into an award-show styled Facebook Instant Experience and Would You Rather-style CTAs.

We used past season clips to tie into cultural moments and real-time conversations, from Black Friday and 4/20 to the release of Kanye's Jesus is King.

Marketing research surveys showed that KUWTK fans love the family's humorous side. We enhance the funniest moments throughout the season using dynamic captioning and create short, evergreen montages to keep the show top-of-mind even during the off-season.
