Adobe tasked my team with figuring out how Generative Fill-based outfit and background replacement features could fit within their Photoshop Express app. To simplify things a bit for their Gen Z audience, they wanted to utilize pre-written prompts that users could quickly choose from.
Instead of the dev team's preliminary idea, which only used one vague prompt for each aesthetic, I had the idea of providing multiple prompt options that fell under one umbrella (ex. having separate prompts describing prom dresses and tuxes, instead of something general like "formal prom outfit"). This would allow us to improve the specificity and accuracy of each prompt, ultimately helping users achieve a wider range of looks.
I supervised our UX designer as he created wireframe explorations of the user flow, led moodboarding and visual research that informed what aesthetics should be prioritized, and wrote and tested prompts ranging from futuristic cyberpunk outfits to retro-inspired tropical vacation backgrounds.
